This page is only for the students of Harpeth Valley Elementary School (HVES). 


Chess club will take place on the following Mondays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM (ROOM TBD SOON). 

Chess club is open to the first 24-students in grades 2nd-4th that register. This club is appropriate for players of all levels. 

Each student in the program will also receive a 1-year Gold Membership to ChessKid ($49 value) and a 1-year membership to the Nashville Chess Center ($45 value) as part of their registration to this club. 

COMPLETE DATES:



Chess begins the Monday after Labor Day, September 12th from 3 - 4 PM. Program runs the full school year and ends May 1st, 2023. 

FULL DATES: 9/12, 9/17, 9/26, 10/3, 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/5 and 12/12. 01/9, 01/23, 01/30 02/6, 02/13, 02/27, 03/6, 03/20, 03/27, 04/3, 04/10, 04/17, 04/24, 05/1 (27 total sessions)

NO CHESS ON: 10/10 Fall Break, 10/31 Halloween, 01/16 MLK Day, 02/20 President's Day, 03/13 Spring Break

DISMISSAL:

Students will be dismissed to after school or walked out to the front for car rider dismissal at 4:00 PM after chess club.
