This registration page is only for the 1st Grade - 4th Grade students of Julia Green Elementary School. Chess will meet each Thursdays after school from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM when school is in session (complete dates below). 

We will have two groups based on age and experience level with a max of 20-students in each group.

We will teach new players the beginning moves and experienced players advanced strategies. We will work to form a competitive JG Chess Hornets team outside of school. More information on outside events can be found by clicking on the "NCC Kids" tab on the left.

No chess during Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Spring Break, or April 6 for Teacher In-Service Day. 

CHESS CLUB PROCEDURES AND DISMISSAL:

Students will be dismissed directly to chess club after school during announcements. At 4:00 PM, we will walk after-school students down to the gym and car riders will be dismissed in the front, hookup lanes. 

Please pick your students up promptly at 4:00 PM or arrange for them to be in after school as our coaches often have other programs to immediately leave for. We appreciate your cooperation and will provide the coach's contact info in case of any emergency with pick up.
