Event #2: Action Chess –                                               (Two Qualify - One Big Section)

Saturday, December 18, 2021

Entry Fee:   $50 to NCC Members, ($60 to non-members) – USCF Membership Required, NCC Membership is optional

Prize Fund:  1st Place – 25% of total entries, 2nd Place – 15% (60% of funds go into 2017 City) + 1st – 2nd qualify for 2022 Nashville City Championship – One open section – One half point bye allowed must commit before first round.

Time Control: G/45 with 5 second delay

Schedule: Register – 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM, Round 1: 10:00 AM, Round2: 12:00 PM, Round 3: 1:45 PM, Round 4: 3:30 PM.

*Rules for both events:

  • If defending champion declines to play, 3rd place alternate shall come from Dec. 18 event.
  • Tie breaks for city spots: 1. Head-to-head match up 2. Modified Median 3. Solkoff 4. Cumulative. 65 If still tied – two games G/5 (no delay) matches.
