SBA Chess Club will meet every Monday that school is in session starting Monday, August 30, 2021 through April 28, 2022.

20 spots available. 

Chess club will meet from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. 

Students will meet Coach Todd at dismissal at the Walker Exit/Outside Chapel, have about 20 minutes to play outside and then will transition upstairs to the chess class room.

Please arrange to pick your student up in the hook up line just past the playground or have them registered to go to after-school from chess. 

All students will get a Gold Membership to ChessKid.com to utilize along with our in class curriculum. ChessKid is a 100% safe site where only the coach and parent accounts assigned to each specific student are able to communicate with students. 

The Nashville Chess Center Coach will work to create a competitive SBA Chess Team to go out and compete at various events in the area and state through out the school year (Full schedule will be sent home Day 1 of chess). 

Fees for tournaments and all outside events are additional costs to the families when they choose to compete.
